Jean Bernard Guindon

It is with heavy hearts that the family announce that John died following a short illness at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital on Thursday, April 2, 2026 in his 77th year.

Jean Bernard Guindon, of Wasaga Beach, was born on January 5, 1950 in Montreal, Quebec to parents Bernard and Lilliane (nee Trottier) Guindon. He was a beloved husband of Dale (nee Brasier) for over 50 years. Loving father of Chantal (James), cherished grandfather of Abigail and Madelyn. Dearly missed brother of Louise and Normand. Remembered by his son Todd, grandson Aiden, extended family and friends. Forever missed by his treasured canine companion Cody, who he loved so very much.

John loved being out on the water, whether in a big boat or simply fishing. He enjoyed playing golf, hockey and was an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan. He spent his career as an in-flight services director with Air Canada. His grandchildren were his world, and his amazing sense of humour will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Friends are invited to join the family at the Carruthers & Davidson Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Saturday, April 11, 2026 for visitation from 10am for the memorial service in the chapel at 11 am. If desired, donations in memory of John to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
