SCHAEFER, Marianne Schaefer

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, on May 19, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories, laughter, and unwavering devotion to those she loved most.

After almost 34 years apart, she is now reunited with her beloved husband, John, the love of her life. Their love story was one that endured through time, and her family finds comfort knowing they are together again. She is also reunited with her dear daughter-in-law Jennifer, her sister Sandra, and her parents, all of whom she deeply loved and missed.

Marianne Schaefer was a devoted mother to Todd (Jennifer, predeceased), Kelly (Brian) and Allison (Mark), and a proud and loving grandmother to Courtney, Haylie, Aiden, Johnny (Zara), Matthew (Samantha), and Emma. Her family was always her greatest joy and highest priority. Nothing mattered more to her than gathering everyone together, sharing stories, offering support, and making sure those she loved felt cared for.

She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor and quick wit. Her warmth, strength, and love created the foundation of her family, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we take comfort in knowing she is reunited with John and Jenny.

A private family service will be held on Monday May 25, 2026 at Westview Funeral Home, London. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or Breast Cancer Canada.
