BURNAT, Cathy May Rose Burnat

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cathy May Rose Burnat (nee: Kwacz), who left us on June 7, 2026 at the age of 72.

Cathy was a devoted wife and best friend to Walter Burnat married 34 wonderful years.

Cathy is predeceased by her parents Joe and Kay Kwacz. She is survived by her loving husband Walter and loving family and friends. Cathy will forever be remembered for her kindness, wisdom and laughter. She will live forever in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, June 29th, 2026 at Newcastle Funeral Home 386 Mill St S

Time 11:30am, sharing of memories at 12pm to 1pm; followed by a reception at the Old Newcastle House Pub located at 119 King Ave W. Newcastle, ON
