Entered into rest with family by her side at the Brockville General Hospital on Saturday June 13th, 2026. Alberta Dorothy Hutchins of Brockville, aged 88 years. Wife of the late Roy Hutchins. Loving mother of Sharry Windsor (Bob) of Kemptville, Barry Hutchins (Cheryl) of Bishops Mills, Lori Selleck (Harry) of Maitland, Connie Carr (George) of Jasper and Jodi Hutchins of Brockville. Cherished grandmother of Chris, Jamie, Amanda, Mark, Brandon, Colton, Ashton, Ronica, MacKenzie, Roydyn, Tyler and Chelsee; and great grandmother of 24. Dear daughter of the late Grenville and Irene (Lackie) Scott; and sister of, Audrey Sloan, Goldie Scott, Ruth Kenney (Steven), Allan Scott (Susan), Betty Poirier (Guy) and Kathy Haskins (Lynn) and the late Joan Selleck and Wayne Scott. Also missed by in-laws Eleanor Scott and Marguerite McCurdy (David) and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A Celebration of Life will take place at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. E., Brockville on Thursday July 2nd, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. In memory of Alberta, donations to Brockville District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family.
