BANDURA, John Bandura

John Teodor Bandura of Tillsonburg in his 69th year passed away peacefully on June 22, 2026. Born on November 5, 1957 in Toronto he was the third child of Walter and Kathleen Bandura.

John Bandura was the loving partner and best friend of Susanne Prouse for 22 years. Together they shared much laughter and a deep lasting love that showed no bounds.

John is predeceased by his son Joseph and his parents, Walter and Kathleen. He is survived by his three sons Christopher, Matthew and Steven. Also step-father to Nick Brunekreeft and friend Tara, Amber Brunekreeft and friend Frank and Kris Brunekreeft. Dear brother of Helen (John) Kril and Christine (Richard) Lasky. Dear brother-in-law of Terry (Brenda) Prouse. Dear uncle of Tania (Mike) Scroop, Laryssa Lasky, Ashley (Greg) Hatch, Brett Prouse, great-uncle of Adrian and Ava Scroop and great-great uncle of Michael and Mason Scroop. Loving son-in-law to Leone Prouse. Predeceased by father-in-law Earl Prouse.

John had a passion for rebuilding muscle cars in his family driveway that left no room for the family car. He loved it so much he fixed them in his Sunday clothes. Hence following that passion, he started selling cars and eventually became a business manager……in his suit everything he did was at a level of perfection.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell St., Tillsonburg. The Mass of Christian Burial for John will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026 at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 51 Venison St., Tillsonburg with Father Seejo John officiating. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Paris, Ontario.
