CARADONNA, Eva Caradonna

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Eva Caradonna, who died peacefully on June 27, 2026 in Hamilton, Ontario after a courageous year-and-a-half battle with leukemia. She was 68 years old.

Born on February 8, 1958 in Hamilton, Eva spent her entire life in Southern Ontario, where she built a life centered on love, family, and lasting friendships. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and cherished friend whose warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her.

Eva shared almost 50 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Charly. Together they built a family that was the pride and joy of her life.

She leaves behind her loving children: James (Crystal), Amanda (Casper), and Vanessa (Corey). She was an adoring grandmother to Malakai, Corbin, Ripley and Emmett, each of whom brought endless happiness to her life. She is also survived by her mother, Mary Marton and brother, Frank (Rosslyn), along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

Eva treasured every opportunity to explore new places with those she loved but she was happiest at the beach. More than anything, she cherished time spent with her grandchildren. Whether sharing stories, celebrating milestones, or simply enjoying everyday moments together, her greatest happiness came from being surrounded by her family.

Throughout her courageous battle with leukemia, Eva faced each day with remarkable strength, grace, and determination. Her resilience, compassion, and unwavering love for her family will remain an enduring source of inspiration to all who knew her.

Though her absence leaves an immeasurable void, her legacy lives on in the love she shared, the memories she created, and the family she so deeply cherished. She will be forever loved, profoundly missed, and never forgotten.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to MILLER FUNERAL CHAPEL, Caledonia (905-765-2712). Celebration of life will take place at 13 McKeown Court, Caledonia on Saturday July 4th from 11:00 a.m. through the day.
