STEENHUIS, Jean Isobel Steenhuis

Died peacefully on Friday June 26, 2026 at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood at the age of 88. Jean Isobel Steenhuis of Wasaga Beach, beloved wife and best friend of Larry for over 40 years. Dear sister of Barbara Lent and Ruth (Michael Suckling). Jean will also be missed by her nephew John, nieces Cindy and Laurie and their families. Predeceased by her parents Lyall and Isobel Lent. She was a kind and caring woman who cherished those she was closest to. She enjoyed travelling with Larry. Their adventures took them to California, the Caribbean, Spain and Las Vegas where, after a 10 year courtship, they married in 1994. Jean was artistic, crafting Papertoll images that were sought after at the crafter’s markets she attended. She had a long career in the consulting profession, specializing in efficiency auditing. Her life journey will be remembered and cherished by those whose lives she impacted. Private arrangements.
