It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce that Czeslawa Zieziula, known to some as Marta, passed away surrounded by family on Monday, July 20, 2026 at Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice in Cobourg.

Czeslawa (Marta) faced her journey with cancer with immense courage and an unwavering sense of humor. Even in the face of difficult medical setbacks, her jokes brought light to her family until the very end, proving her spirit was stronger than any illness.

She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—spending time with loved ones, baking, dancing, and scoring an unbeatable deal while shopping.

Czeslawa (Marta) will be deeply missed by her children (Emily and Jordan), two granddaughters, older brother and her extended family circle.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will be holding a private ceremony.

In honor of Czeslawa’s (Marta’s) strength, the family invites you to consider a memorial donation to the Canadian Cancer Society to support ongoing research efforts.
