She will be sadly missed by her predeceased mother and father, Catherine and Bill Fraser; husband, Jim Cole; loving daughter, Lisa Cole (Fernando); predeceased daughter, Jaylene Cole (Danielle); and grandchildren, Cole and Olivia. Sisters Diane Dukarich (John), Marion Kelly (late husband Bill) (Ken), and Anne D’Ambrosio (late husband Gino) (Michael). Many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend, who passed away suddenly at the age of 68 after a courageous six-year journey with aggressive Alzheimer’s disease. Although Alzheimer’s gradually stole many of her memories, it could never diminish the love she gave us and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. She passed away suddenly following a cardiac event, surrounded by those who cherished her.

Kathy Ann Fraser-Cole was a devoted mother to her two daughters, Lisa and Jaylene, who were the greatest pride and joy of her life. Her unconditional love, strength, and support were unwavering. She was so excited when grandson Cole came along and, shortly after, Olivia. Her biggest achievement to her in life was her family; seeing them succeed brought so much joy to her. Unfortunately, youngest daughter Jaylene passed away suddenly on June 2, 2026. While Alzheimer’s had changed so much of her world, the bond between a mother and child is everlasting. We find comfort in believing that they are now reunited, free from pain and sorrow, together once again in peace and surrounded by love.

Though our hearts carry the weight of losing them both so close together, we take solace in the memories they leave behind and in the enduring love they shared with their family. Their lives will forever be intertwined in our hearts, and their love will continue to guide and inspire us every day.

She also shared an extraordinary bond with her three sisters. Their relationship was one of unwavering love, friendship, laughter, and support. Together they celebrated life’s happiest moments and milestones. The love they shared was truly unbreakable.

She will be remembered for her warm heart and the kindness extended to everyone fortunate enough to know her. She always had a smile walking into every family event and embraced each and every person. Kathy worked for decades in long-term care in various roles, from frontline to management. She treated every senior like family, showed them compassion and kindness, and was always an advocate for seniors.

Our family would like to express our deepest gratitude to the compassionate and dedicated staff at The Meadows Long Term Care Home, who lovingly cared for her throughout the last three years of her life. They treated her with dignity, kindness, and respect; their support brought peace of mind to our family, and we will always be grateful for the love and exceptional care they gave her each and everyday.

Kathy’s cremation has taken place, and a private family celebration of life will take place.
