With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Agostino DiNallo, who departed this life peacefully at the age of 93 on June 21, 2025.
Born in Cassino, Italy, Agostino brought with him a deep love for family, tradition, and hard work when he immigrated to Canada in pursuit of a better life. He lived a long and meaningful life defined by devotion to family, hard work, and quiet strength.
Agostino was preceded in death by his beloved wife Maria, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, partnership, and cherished memories. Their bond was the cornerstone of the family they built together.
He is survived by his loving children: Elena, Nancy, and Benny, and by his devoted sons-in-law Enzo and Frank. He was a proud and adoring grandfather to Adam and Courtney, Shawn and Kathleen, Nicholas, Stefanie and Nick, Tanya, Jennifer, Natalie, and Evan. His legacy continues through his great-grandchildren: Gabriel, Amelia, James, and Penelope, who brought joy and light to his final years.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East, Thornhill, Ontario.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 10:30 am in the Chapel of St. Joseph at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 8361 Yonge Street, Thornhill, Ontario.
He will be remembered always—with love, gratitude, and enduring respect. Rest in peace, Agostino.
