Passed away peacefully at Gateway Haven on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. Born in Bootle, England, Alice was in her 94th year. She was the beloved wife of the late Cleo Carter.
Proud mother of Darryl (Gay-Lynn), Bradley, and second mother to Christine (Ron). Loving grandmother of Colten, Chasen (Shelby), and Shanley, and cherished great-grandmother of Aubrey and Clara.
Alice will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Predeceased by her parents Harold and Alice Glazebrook (née Ryan), and her sister Peg Douglas.
Alice’s family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff at Gateway Haven in Wiarton for the excellent care they provided.
In keeping with Alice’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound.
