Shonagh McNeill, 52, of Toronto, Ontario, passed away on February 7, 2025.
She was born on July 29, 1972, in Toronto to Ian McNeill and Geraldine Smeeth.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Shonagh was extremely passionate about supporting local dog rescues,
with a particular soft spot for senior dogs. Her kindness and dedication touched the lives of both the people and animals she cared for.
She is survived by her loving children, John and Christine (Kyle), her cherished grandchildren, Elliott, Samantha, Nora, and William;
her father, Ian (Margaret), and brother, Gavin; her mother, Geraldine, and her siblings, Daniel and Kate.
Shonagh’s love and generosity will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held on March 8th at St. John’s Dixie at 12:00 PM to honor her life.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a local dog rescue in her memory.
