Passed away peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital on August 19th, 2026 in his 93rd year.
Jack was predeceased by his loving wife Gertie of 72 years, and his daughter Darlene (Basil). He will be deeply missed by his children Dale, Bob, Scott (Susan) and Liza (Mike). Cherished grandfather to Jacob, Rebecca, Jessica, Matthew, Stephanie, Brady, Lucas and William. Jack will also be missed by many great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren and anyone else who had the pleasure of knowing him. The family would like to send out a special thanks to the staff and friends at Victoria Retirement for their friendship over the past few years.
The family has invited friends to a Celebration of life on Wednesday, August 26th at 1:00pm at MacCoubrey Funeral Home (30 King St E. Cobourg, ON K9A 1K7)
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
