Lise Monique Anita Marie Lacroix

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mama, and nanny, Lise Lacroix, who was called to Heaven’s Gate on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at the age of 81. Surrounded by her loved ones, she peacefully passed away at home after a courageous battle with cancer.
Lise was the glue of her family, married to her love, Marcel, since May 27, 1961. She dedicated her life to raising her four children—Danny, Joanne, Monique, and Denis—instilling in them the values of love, kindness, and respect. Lise enjoyed making others happy and always sent them home with a hot cooked meal, laughter, and love.
Her grandchildren Sean (Alanna), Mandy (Mike), Shannon (Chris), and Hope, along with her great-grandchildren Kayden, Grace, and Tucker, brought her immense joy. She is survived by her father Fernand, mother Cécile, and siblings Hélène and Denis. Lise is fondly remembered by all her family, friends, and her furry sidekick, Kevin.
Lise’s family is deeply grateful for the compassionate care provided by Dr. Goel and the Ottawa General Hospital Cancer Unit. Special thanks to her friend Hélène and niece Carol for sharing love, laughter, and strength in her final months.
