The family of Denise Rowe are deeply saddened to announce her passing on Saturday September 5, 2026 at Bowmanville Hospital. She went peacefully with her loving sister by her side.
Denise Anita Rowe was predeceased by her parents Joyce (Woodley) Rowe, and Ronald Rowe, and her brother Kerry “Chip” Rowe. She is survived by her sister Darlene Brewster, and by her nieces Bobbi and Cassandra and her nephew Nick; as well as being a great aunt to Arden, Joyce, Simon, Zach and Sammy. Denise is also survived by her many wonderful Woodley cousins.
Denise will be remembered by all her family and friends for her fiery personality and steadfast loyalty. She loved playing pool, feeding the birds, squirrels and enjoying good chats.
Her family would like to thank Alex Fry, Karen Wilkinson, and Dianne Woodley for being there for her. To all the wonderful nurses and doctors at Bowmanville Hospital, thank you for your amazing and compassionate care. We are glad you got to see Denise’s funny wit and feistiness up to the final moments. Thank you Pinker, her companion and heart mate.
Family and Friends are invited to Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home 53 Division St. Bowmanville for a Memorial Visitation on Saturday September 26, 2026 from 2:00 pm ~ 5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to Action Volunteers for Animals https://www.avacats.org/donate or any Cat Rescue organization.
A private burial has been taken place.
