It is with great sadness that the family of James Bernard Falle announces his sudden passing, in the barn at his home in Port Perry, doing what he loved to do, on Friday October 9, 2026 at the age of 70 years. Loved and always remembered by his spouse; Jennifer Gaylor. Remembered lovingly by his siblings Robert (Bob) Falle (Darlene), Theresa (Terry) De Maeyer (Daryn), and Michael Falle. Also fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews: Andrew; Patrick; and Matthew; Jacob (Alison and Baby Nathan); Krystin (Nick); and Zachary; Sarah (Andrew, sons Oscar and Eddy); and Aaron (d. 2018). Also dearly remembered by his Aunt Mona Falle (Ralph d. 2018) and Aunt Daisy Falle. Also lovingly remembered by his cousins: Janice, Ralph, Lorraine, Yvonne and their families. Barb Gaylor (Dennis d. 2018), brother-in-law Christopher Gaylor (Tricia McKay), nieces Jasmine, Emma and Bridget.
Son of a Scotiabanker, he was transferred to many cities within Ontario in his childhood. His fondest memories growing up with his family occurred at 55 Dewey Drive in the community of Maryvale in Scarborough where he loved music and sports. Jim became a great uncle again in June and he humorously referred to Nathan as “Harvey.” Jim was an avid Jays fan, and he enjoyed watching his nieces and nephews compete in hockey, skiing, figure skating and public speaking. Jim attained his dream of sharing his love of horses with Jennifer at Falle Wind Farm. Jim retired enjoying his passion for horses and polo. He loved the game, his fellow players and his ponies. Polo introduced him to great friends, and exciting places to play including Argentina and Thailand. He will be sadly missed on the field. Golf was another hobby, although he described the score card as a “summary of Lies and Approximations”. Above everything Jim achieved in his life, his family came first…….ALWAYS.
