A lover of golf, cross country skiing, cars, and motorcycles, especially his Navy Blue Wing.
Les enjoyed yoga & breakfast with the girls.
Les also taught ballroom dancing and was a sight to behold on the dance floor.
He will be deeply missed by his best friend Verne D’Angelo.
He was the special Uncle to Duncan Tasker & Suzanne (Vern) Neild and Great Uncle of Richard (Beth) of the Isle of Man, extended family including Sandra D’Angelo, the Kent family of Calgary and the D’Angelo family of Toronto.
There are so many people and organizations to thank for their kindness, support and dedication to the care of others. Dr. Stephen Smith & Associates, Dr.T. Izukawa of Baycrest Hospital Toronto, Dr. Bharucha, Dr. J. Stewart, Becky and the Team 2 East Medical and Palliative Nurses 1 South CCC at Bowmanville Hospital, PSW’s of Community Care Durham and the Clarington ALS team.
My co-ordinator Paula from LHIN was invaluable through this process. Space doesn’t allow for all the individual names, you know who you are. From my heart to yours thank you.
Donations in Les’ honour to Community Care Durham, Hospice Durham or the Clarington ALS team would be greatly appreciated and accepted. These caregivers saved my sanity during a time of great stress.
A virtual celebration of Les’ life will take place on Thursday January 14th at 2p.m. Please join us using the link provided:https://distantlink.com/WCTFH.html
