Miller RonMILLER, Ronald 'Ron' Joseph - (May 28, 1964 – January 10, 2021)

It is with profound sadness that the family announces the sudden and unexpected passing of Ron Miller at Lakeridge Health Hospital in Oshawa on Sunday January 10, 2021 in his 56th year.

Ron’s size and motorcycle gear made him look intimidating, but for those who knew him, knew that he was truly a gentle giant.

Humble and kind, he never judged and always looked for the best in others, always providing opportunities for others less fortunate than him.

He touched the lives and hearts of everyone he met. If you needed him, he was there.

Adoring and loving life partner to Linda for 7 years.

Best friend and proud father to R.J (Dawn) and Krystal (Dean).

Dear stepfather to Nikole (Jordan). Adoring grandfather to Faith, Khloe, Jalon and Kyiah.

Ron is survived by his loving mother Anna MacKenzie and his sister Fran (Stan) of New Waterford, Nova Scotia as well as his brothers Michael and William of Sydney, Nova Scotia. Ron is also survived by his sister Rita and was predeceased by his cherished brother John (2008).

Ron will also be deeply missed by his nephew Vinny, with whom he had a very special bond, along with his many other extended family and friends.

Due to Ron’s immense love for animals, donations to the Durham Humane Society would be greatly appreciated in his honour.

Due to COVID-19 regulations, there will not be any public services but cremation will follow.

Arrangements entrusted to COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL 1587 Highway #2, Courtice, Ontario (905-432-8484).
