KISKUNAS, Walter (Wally)   - August 10, 1958 - January 26, 2022

Walter (Wally) Kiskunas of Pickering, ON, at the young age of 63, passed away peacefully, following a short battle with cancer in Oshawa - Lakeridge Hospital on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.

Beloved husband of the late Sandra Isabelle (nee Hauraney), November 10, 2020.

Predeceased by his father Walter (Vladas), April 12, 2000.

Loving and dear son of Martha. Cherished brother of Colleen. Loving father of Alexis (Debbie), Tara (Frank), and Aaron. Loving uncle of Jason (Audrey). Greyhound Canada honouring Walter for his 35 years of service, 1986-2021.

Walt's dedication to his work as Regional Safety Manager ON/QC was to produce high-quality results.

Walt was devastated with impact on workers and customers when Greyhound was shut down permanently.

May 13, 2021 Walter's passion for music (bass guitar) and his many jam sessions in his full basement studio made him happy.

His commitment and work with Safe Haven Community Church was his joy.

Walt was a devoted loving husband, father, son, uncle, and brother who worked hard all his life to provide for his family. He was a kind and gentle soul who would always help anyone.

Walt will be missed by all of those who were fortunate to be part of his life. We will love you forever. Cremation has taken place and a (livestreamed) memorial service will be held at a later date.

Many thanks to doctors, nurses, and team at Lakeridge for care and support during these difficult days of the pandemic. Memorial donations to Lymphoma Canada would be appreciated by the family.

Sincere thanks to all who have sent condolences and special tributes for our beloved Walter during this sad time.

Rest in Christ's Love.
