Son of the late Frank and Irene Whitfield.
Brother of Ted and his wife Penny, and Gerry and his wife Marlene.
Loved Uncle of Lou, Jeff, Ed and David.
Ray was an active farmer, living in Port Perry all of his life.
He graduated from High School in the Tech Course in Uxbridge, and went on to college in Ottawa to take courses in oil furnace installation and repairs. He then began working with Len Nixon in Prince Albert.
Following that, Ray worked at the Port Perry Home Hardware for over 40 years, until his retirement three years ago.
Due to the restrictions of COVID-19, a private family service will be held.
