KYDD, C. June M. Kydd - June 18th, 1928 - April 14th, 2022
Passed away peacefully April 14, 2022 at Lakeridge Port Perry with Linda and Susan at her side.
Predeceased by her husband, Carl (2009) and son Brian (2020).
Lovingly survived by her two daughters Linda Volpatti (Dennis) and Susan Richards (partner Brian Hiscock), and cherished grandchildren Alexandra, David, Adale, Gwen, Lisa and Hayley, and great grandchildren Rylee, Pheonix, Ronin, Colton, Charlotte, Jade and Lucas.
Also survived by many caring nieces and nephews.
June was born to parents Arthur and Ellen Sweetman (McDermott) in Scugog.
June was the eleventh of twelve children (all predeceased): Blanche, Bernice, Stewart, Marguerite, Amasa, Aileen, Herbert, Norman, Rena, Bruce and Ronald.
June treasured her relationships with many long-time friends and colleagues.
After retirement June and Carl enjoyed over thirty cruises to many parts of the world and were always happy to get back home.
June is resting at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOMEe until her chapel service. Visitation Monday, April 25, 2022 at 10 a.m. followed by funeral service at 11 a.m. and reception.
June will be laid to rest at Uxbridge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial donations may be made to the Port Perry Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society.
