CLARKE, Shirley Maria Anna (nee Volkers) - Of Beaverton, ON. Born in Amsterdam, Netherlands passed away peacefully October 26, 2022 in her 69th year.
Loving partner to James for 51 years, dear mother to Derek and dear grandmother to Nick.
Predeceased by her parents Hank and Elizabeth Volkers and her in-laws Howie and Mary Clarke.
Dearest sister to Jennifer Seminerio (Enrico) and brother Jeff Volkers (Luisa).
Special loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Shirley’s wishes cremation has taken place and her ashes will be used to plant a tree. Shirley donated her eyes to the Trillium Foundation. There will not be a visitation or service.
The family would appreciate donations to The Brock Community Food Bank. www.brockcommunityfoodbank.ca., and or, St Andrews United Church Beaverton.
Shirley and Jim moved from Hamilton to Beaverton in 1996 where her passion for cycling, body building , cooking, and gardening blossomed. Shirley took her love for cooking to “ Andy’s Crockpot “ where the community was able to appreciate her cooking with love.

Finally, Shirley asked, that we all be kinder to one another.
