COLE, Robert (Bob) - March 19, 1942 – December 30, 2022
It is with great sadness and much love that we mourn Robert (Bob) Cole who passed away peacefully on December 30th, 2022 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 80.
Robert will be greatly missed by his wife Julianne, daughter Roanne, son-in-law Jeff, and grandson Connor Lockwood.
Bob holds a special place in the hearts of his stepson Kim Kapczynski, his wife Martha and their family, his dear friend Glen Gray (Nancy), his beloved cousin Judy Allen and her husband Bert, and his long-time friends in St Martin.
Robert is pre-deceased by his mother Margaret and his brother Danny. He will be fondly remembered by his niece Danita. All his life Bob enjoyed nature and, as a heavy equipment operator, had many opportunities to work across Northern Canada.
He retired from the Pickering and Darlington Nuclear plants and took up golf, spending his summers with good friends several times a week.
Robert spent his childhood in White Rock, British Columbia, and his ashes will be interred at the military cemetery, Sunnyside Lawn Cemetery in Surrey BC, on February 27th, 2023, where he will be reunited with many of his childhood friends.
