PAGE, Sandra Lynne  -  Sandy Lynne Page, of Markham Ontario, passed away Thursday, March 23 at Markham Stouffville Hospital after a courageous journey with cancer.

Born on December 19, 1962 to Clayton Cary and Marilynne Gross (nee Cary) in Ajax, Ontario, Sandy’s greatest joy was her family.

Survived by her two sisters, Sue Robbins (Richard) and Shanon McMillan; her two children Rachael Battistelli (Christian) and Max Page (Ali); her nephews and nieces Jaimie Bolahood (Lucas) and Tanner Robbins (Chealsey), Dawson McMillan and of course the two lights of her life grandchildren, Leo and Gracie.

Sandy graduated with a degree in Commerce from University of Toronto in 1985 and went on to found and build a very successful Financial Planning business, retiring to a consultant role in 2022.

Fondly known by her family and many friends as “Lady Sandar” Sandy was a fierce scrabble competitor and an accomplished golf and tennis player.

Sandy knew how to live life to the fullest. She loved big and was a fiercely loyal mom, sister, family member and friend. We are all better for having known her.

We want to send a huge thank you to Dr. Mateya Trinkaus, Oncologist at Markham Stouffville Hospital, Kendra (nurse) and the entire chemo team for their unrelenting support, care and knowledge. You all made a difference.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Royal Ashburn on Tuesday, March 28 at 5pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to MSH Foundation, Chemo Clinic Unit at Markham Stouffville Hospital.
