It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John on Sunday, June 29, 2025, in his 77th year. Beloved father to Jennifer (Mark Rutledge) and proud grandfather to Max Rutledge.
Loving son to the late Jack and Sheilah Bauman. He is survived by his brother Bob Bauman (Sue) and sister Mary Hall (Alex), and was preceded in death by his sister Anne Brady (Mike).
John spent almost his entire career with IBM. He was a man of integrity and loyalty, as his many friends and golf buddies will attest. We hope they will remember him on the first tee of The Lincoln this year.
In keeping with John’s wishes, there will be a simple interment at Holy Cross Cemetery for immediate family members. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honour his life.
