BOGART, Hazel Jean Bogart

April 14, 1932 - April 10, 2026

She passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 10th, 2026, at Bobier Villa, Dutton.

Hazel Jean Bogart was born on April 14th, 1932 . She was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, William (Bill) Bogart, parents Harold Koyl, Mary Irene(Dawdy) Koyl, her sister Eileen (Koyl)Carr and her twin brother Harley Koyl. Hazel held the hope and assurance of a joyful reunion promised by her lifelong faith in Jesus.

She is survived by her sister-in-law Carolyn (Bogart) Van Colen and her three children Kathy (Phil)Corneil, Pam (Mac) Tennant, Dick (Debbie) Bogart. Grammie of Jim (Trish)Corneil, Cindy (Mat) daCosta, Jeff Corneil (Chanel), Sean (Meeghan) Tennant, William (Erin) Tennant, Scott (Jennifer) Tennant, Laura (Terry) Smith, Mike Bogart (Melanie), Mark (Sara) Bogart, Brad Bogart, Josh (Krista) Bogart, Kyle Bogart (Shilo).

Great Grammie of Jake, Olivia, Jack, Rylan, Logan, Willow, Carson, Berkeley, Jensen, Carsen, Georgia, Morgan, Logan, Emma, Ellie, Addison, Chloe, Keira, Blake, Cole and many nieces and nephews.

Hazel and Bill lived at Caledonia Gardens where Hazel spent many years volunteering at Bobier Villa and caring for Bill the years he was living there. She will be remembered playing piano/organ and leading worship hymns in church and in later years at Bobier Villa services.

Hazel will be missed terribly by her family and friends, but she is now at peace and rejoicing with her loved ones again.

We welcome you to join the family for visitation at Arn Funeral Home, 193 Shackleton St, (519-762-2416) Sunday April 12 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, and Monday 9:00 until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Luncheon will be held at Knox St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 162 Nancy St, Dutton immediately after the service. Interment in McArthur cemetery following the luncheon.
