It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George (Geordie) Bowen on April 17, 2025, at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, at the age of 67.
Beloved husband of Deborah Bowen (née Melville), Geordie was a devoted family man who found his greatest joy in the love and laughter shared with those closest to him. He was the cherished father of Melissa, Jordan (Leigh), Amber (Baron), and Ryan (Ashley), and a proud grandfather to Annelea, Josie, Thomas, Jocelyn, Talan, and Avery.
Geordie was the loving son of the late George and Helen Bowen, and dear son-in-law to Barbara Melville. He will be fondly remembered by his siblings Guy (Sabina), Dorothy (Roger), Alf (Vicki), and Paul (Diane), and will be missed by many extended family members and friends.
His loyal companion, Sadie the dog, will miss him dearly.
Geordie’s life will be celebrated at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honour his memory, share stories, and reflect on a life well lived.
