CASS, Patricia Cass

With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia on Sunday, surrounded by the love of her family at Burloak LTC, Zimmerman House in Burlington. At the age of 88, she was welcomed into the arms of her Lord, and reunited with her husband Bob of 64 years.

Patricia Cass will be dearly missed by her loving children, Bob (May) Cass, Alan (Karen) Cass, Sue (John) Goossen, Natalie (Scott) Hutchison, Heather (Brad) Klassen; grandchildren Sarah (Jesse), Bobby (Nico), Ginny (Zac), Stephen (Brooke), Shannon (Trevor), Angela (Brendan), Dustin (Selina), Missy (Andy), Josh (Samantha), Brianna (Jason), Alisha, Bryce (Amber), Emily, Abi (Brayden), Bethie (Cam), Tasha (Chase); great-grandchildren, Layla, Josie, Davey, Palmer, Nolan, Lux, Ophelia, Spencer, Eliana, Nevaeh, Liberty, Declan, Tobias, Cooper, Wayne, Gus, Evie, Audrey, Oliver, Ellie, Henry, Bobby, Clark, Collins; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Pat was a great artist, seamstress, cook and volunteered in many church functions in her younger years when she wasn’t caring for her own family.

Our family would like to sincerely thank the entire Care Team at Burloak LTC for their compassion & kindness for the last 9 1/2 years. Our deep appreciation and gratitude to Zimmerman & Brant Houses for their dedication to care for her with love, joy and happy smiles over the years. For the PSW’s and Nurses who have shown mom patience, tenderness, and attended to her needs when she could no longer ask, we cannot express our gratitude enough. Thank you.

In lieu of flowers and for those who wish, memorial donations in Patricia’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.

According to Patricia’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place Monday, July 13, 2026 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Dodsworth and Brown Funeral Home – Burlington Chapel, 2241 New St. Burlington, (905-637-5233). A Memorial Service will take place in the Chapel on Tuesday, July 14 at 3:00 pm. Patricia will be laid to rest alongside Bob at Burlington Memorial Gardens.
