CRISANTE, Cecilia Crisante

She passed away with family by her side on Sunday July 12, 2026, in Toronto at the age of 86.

Beloved wife to Carmine Crisante, the love of her life (died 2000), loving mother to Rosemarie (David Hope), Nevina (Frederick) Fedorsen, Patricia (Ralph Leis), Nadia (Martin Rochon), and Gabrielle (Andrew Sabbadini). Proud grandmother to Alexander, Natalie (Chris Reis), Nicholas, Elizabeth, Blake (Sarah Mezei) , Katherine, Kristina, Eric, Adam, Connor, Benjamin, Sarah, and Mitchell. Adoring great-grandmother to Celina Reis.

Cecilia Crisante was a strong, intelligent, and vibrant person.  She cherished the blessings of life, and faced the challenges with grace, determination, and wisdom. She was trained as a bookkeeper, and went on to become a talented floral designer, but it was her family that was her proudest achievement. Cecilia was an extraordinary mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Kind and generous with tremendous empathy, with always an open mind and heart, she was the centre of our family. She enjoyed gardening, travel, music and dance, drawing and writing, winters in Marco Island Florida. She was brave and dignified her entire life.

Visitation will be held on Friday July 17/26, 4-8 pm, and Funeral service will take place on Saturday July 18/26 9am. Both at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East,Thornhill, ON
