October 4, 1958 - June 26, 2026The family sadly announces the passing of Debra βDebβ Mae Diagre (nee Claus) at Victoria Hospital β LHSC, London, Ontario on Friday June 26, 2026 at 67 years of age.
Loving wife to Michel Diagre. Caring mother to Yvonne (Jay) Laidlaw and their sons Seth and Silas and Allison (Mike) Grubb and their sons Kellan and Declan.
Supportive sister to Diana (Bill) Blake and Robert (Cindy) Claus. Sister-in-law to Christine, Jenny and Frank and Raymond.
Aunt to Mark, Patrick, Angela, Chris, Rick, Stephanie, Nadia, Troy, Nathan, Lauren, Alexandra, Alanah and Stephen. Great Aunt to many.
Predeceased by her parents A. Mae Claus (nee Nunn) and Ray E. Claus, as well as brother Daniel B. Claus, sister and brother-in-law Jeannine and Joel and sister-in-law Nadine.
Deb devoted more than four decades to her work as a lab technician at LHSC. Her long career reflecting her professionalism, reliability and quiet dedication.
Above all, Deb loved her family. Her life was centered on the people she held dear, and she gave her heart fully to those relationships. She was especially passionate about supporting her grandchildren, celebrating their accomplishments and taking great joy in being part of their lives. Deb also had a deep appreciation for the simple and meaningful pleasures of life. She enjoyed travel and welcomed the opportunity to see new places. Her lifelong love of learning was one of her defining qualities, and she continued to seek knowledge and understanding throughout her life. Her many close friends held a special place in her heart. Deb was grateful for the companionships and support they brought to her life.
As per Debβs wishes, cremation has taken place with a Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date. Donations in memory of Deb can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation and would be appreciated by the family.
