EMILSON, Signar ‘Cecil’ – Passed away peacefully at West Hills Care Centre on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at the age of 89.

Cherished father of Yvonne (the late Martin, 2023), Dianna, the late Kenneth (2005), Dana (Jackie), Charlene. Loving grandfather of Carrie Lynne, Claire (Chris), Yolanda, Neil, Jordan, Kathleen (Justin), Jeff (Teresa), Josh, Ryan (Emily), the late Dominic (2013), Chantal.

Dearly loved great-grandfather of the late Dustin (2000), Ireland, Kaley, Cody, Kristen, Adryen, Brooklin, Kylii, Bella, Charlii, Hannah, Holly, Hailey, Dallas, Paige, Gracie; great-great-grandfather of Kaidyn, Charlotte, Miles and a baby girl due in September.

Fondly remembered by his siblings Sadie, Bernice, Gordan, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Johan ‘Fred’ and Signa, and siblings Stan, Charles, Signar, Bruce, Beatrice, and Igna.

The family expresses deep gratitude to the staff at West Hills Care Centre for their dedicated care. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Friday, July 4, 2025 from 2–4 PM and 6–8 PM. Committal to follow later at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
