In Loving Memory of Marie Geisler (Puszczynski)

It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Marie on May 10, 2025, at Lakeridge Health in Bowmanville.

Marie was a devoted and loving mother to Jennifer and her husband Andrew, and a deeply cherished Baba to her beloved grandchildren, Ashleigh and Harrison, who brought her endless pride and joy. She was their biggest cheerleader — though she couldn’t always be there in person at their sports and activities, there were always videos for her and she would watch them repeatedly, beaming with pride each time.

She shared a special bond with her loving partner, Juris Smolinskis, and held dear friendships with Claudette and Cynthia, whose presence added warmth and companionship to her life.

Marie’s deep love for her family and her generous spirit touched everyone who knew her. Her kindness, encouragement, and unwavering support will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A memorial service to celebrate Marie’s life will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 12 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa), with visitation beginning at 11 a.m.
