Peacefully, at the age of 80, Ed Greene passed away in his home. He was born January 17th, 1945 in Fredericton, New Brunswick and made his way to Ontario in 1967.

Survived by his life partner, Barbara Cary, sisters Pauline (Jack) Divalentin and Ann Marie Greene, nieces Sandra (Giacomo) Pincin and Lori Legault, nephews Tony (Rumina) Divalentin and Richard Divalentin, along with many great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Ed eventually owned his own Spray Foam Insulation Company with his partner and best friend John Tretjack for approximately 20 years. He was an avid golfer and always ended up after 18 holes at the bar in the Club House partaking in a few with his good golf buddies.

He loved to travel and had many great experiences throughout Canada, the USA, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Europe. Some of his last words were that he felt he had a good life full of love and deep friendships. He was also looking forward to meeting his beloved dogs, Kyson and Sassie.

As per Ed’s wishes, there will be no Celebration of Life. If desired, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, 20 Eglinton Ave. W., 16th Floor, Toronto, ON M4R 1K8. Charitable Registration #11878 4925RR0001.

Memories and notes of condolence may be shared at Basic Funerals.
