Passed away peacefully at Mariposa House Hospice on Monday, May 26th, 2025, at the age of 82. Born in Toronto, Carolyn was predeceased by her parents Harry and Helen Schulz, and her sons James Gardiner (Sharon) and David Gardiner.
Lovingly known as “Ba”, she will be dearly missed by her daughter Christine Anderson (Philip), grandchildren Luke, Jake, Shannon, Nicholas, Karen, and Quintin, and great-grandchildren Willow, Malcolm, Maxine, and Kayden. She was the dear sister of Bill Schulz (Gudrun), Donna Maureira (Estaban), and was predeceased by her sister Janet MacKenzie (Phil). Carolyn was a beloved aunt to Kirk, Lisa, Lori, Katie, and Mathew.
Carolyn’s kind and gentle nature touched all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by her extended family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to have known her.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at St. Andrew’s St. James’ Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice through Simcoe Funeral Home.
