HURDIS, Roy Hurdis

Suddenly at his home on Tuesday April 7th, 2026. Roy Hurdis of Brockville, aged 83 years. Dear son of the late Wilfred Hurdis and Violet Kinch (Connell); brother of Shirley Ellis. Also predeceased by partner Shirley McIlvenna and nephew David Ellis. Roy will also be missed by stepson Mark Pettem (and children) and many friends.

Roy was a longtime employee of Doug and Don Beattie as their parts manager. In his retirement he enjoyed going out for a bite to eat with his friends and sitting with Shirley to share memories.

As requested by Roy, cremation with a private Graveside Service will be held at Oakland Cemetery. In memory of Roy, donations to the Brockville & District Hospital Foundation – Stroke and Cardiac Care, would be appreciated.
