Loving husband to Nancy, with whom he shared 35 wonderful years together.

Beloved Papa to Kristopher(Alicia), Ryan (Rebecca), Ashley, Matthew, Jack, Sammy, Moya, Esme, Isla, Clark and Chase, and great Papa to little Elena Rose.

Bernie enjoyed a long career at the Toronto Harbor Commission before leaving to pursue his passion for music full time. He fronted a successful Toronto tuxedo band for many years before gaining world renown as a Roy Orbison tribute artist. When not on tour, Bernie was a dedicated member of the Courtice Lions Club and Oshawa Rotary, and often performed at community events.

Visitation will be held at the Courtice funeral chapel located at 1587 Durham Regional Hwy 2, Courtice, Ontario L1E 2R7 on Thursday June 19 2025 at 11:30am, followed by a memorial service in the chapel at 1:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family are kindly asking for donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
