Peacefully passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Extendicare – Fenelon Court, at the age of 92.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Sharon Teresa Lindquist, his children Jane, Kenneth, Gary, and Linda Black, and his sisters Elsie (Dave) and Dorothy (John).

Loving father of William of Kamloops, BC, George (Barb) of Lindsay, ON, Wayde (Jeannie) of Prince Rupert, BC, Ken Johnston (Ferial) of Bolton, ON, and Rusty Johnston of Oshawa, ON.

William will be sadly missed by his grandchildren and his many nieces and nephews.

William enjoyed spending his time admiring classic antique cars, fishing, and boating.

Cremation will take place and a private family service will be held. His cremated remains will be interred with Sharon at Thornton Cemetery.
