Unexpectedly passed away on June 2, 2025 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, a few days after her 84th birthday.

Beloved mother of Rachel Colleran (Shawn), Samantha Livett, Michael Livett, and Lizzie Livett-Buchanan (John). Cherished grandmother of Dane, Alex, Liam, and Maxx and great-grandmother of Scarlet-Eve and Dean. Dear sister of Marilyn, Gillian, and Vanessa.

Helen was a devoted teacher with the Durham Catholic District School Board for over 40 years. She left a lasting impact on generations of children, often being recognized and warmly greeted by former students wherever she went in the community.

When she wasn’t teaching, she found joy in gardening, reading, knitting, cheering on the Toronto Blue Jays, and watching BritBox and tennis.Special thanks to her dedicated PSW’s for their care and compassion over the last few years.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2025 from 2-5 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa).
