Domenica Martino (née Bellissimo), passed away peacefully on June 17, 2025 at the age of 93. Predeceased by her loving husband Vincenzo, her parents Domenico and Angela, and all of her siblings.
She is survived by her sons Vito (Diana), Dominic (Barbara), and Mario (Maria), eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Domenica will be remembered for her deep love for family, enduring strength, and the joy she had in cooking and baking for her family and all who visited her home. She also loved flowers and gardening. She will be missed.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East, Thornhill, ON.
Funeral Mass will take place in the Chapel of St. Joseph (within the funeral home) on Monday, June 23, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 8361 Yonge Street, Thornhill.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
