It is with deep love and remembrance that we announce the passing of Leona Vera McLeod on June 26, 2025, at the age of 97.
Leona was the beloved wife of the late George Wellington McLeod and the fourth child of Harold and Elsie Webb (both predeceased). She was a devoted mother to Bruce, Wayne (predeceased), Ken (predeceased), and Donna (Gord).
She was a proud and loving Nana to Andrew, Ken, Katie, Dion, Chad, Alayna, and Ashley, and a cherished Grana to many great-grandchildren. Vera will be fondly remembered by her brother Bruce (Joyce), brother-in-laws Edwin (Doris-predeceased), George (Iris), and many nieces and nephews.
Leona’s warmth, strength, and devotion to family touched many lives and her memory will be treasured by all who knew her.
