It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Edward Elliott Meltz. He left us peacefully at Baycrest, after battling for several months with complications due to chronic kidney disease.
He was the devoted husband of the late Rena Meltz (née Nitkin), a proud and loving father to his sons Carey Russell Meltz and Bradley Stephen Meltz, son-in-law Luc Carriere, and grandson Jonah Raymond Meltz.
Cherished by his sister Naomi Winkler, nephew Darren Winkler and nieces Lisa and Shelby Winkler; beloved by his sister-in-law Judi Schade and dear cousins Harvey and Adena Glasner. He was a friend, a true gentleman and highly respected by everyone who touched his life, especially Paul and Monique Glober.
He will be remembered for his gentle strength and wisdom, his generosity and big heart, his sense of humour, and the way his face lit up around the people he loved.
