MOGYOROSY, Joseph Mogyorosy

Passed away peacefully at Montfort Hospital, Ottawa, on May 2, 2026, just shy of his 87th birthday. Beloved husband of the late Concepcion “Connie” (née Perez) (2005). Loving father of Thérèse (Benoit Langevin) and grandfather of Jacob, Alek, and Meeko. Survived by his sister, Melina Dayne.

He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by family and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Agnes (née Berkes) and Joseph Mogyorosy.

Joseph will be remembered for his love of music and his many years of involvement in the Burlington church community, where he shared his talent generously.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church (Brant Street at Blairholm), Burlington, on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Private interment.
