MUNCITU, Rodica Muncitu

It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Rodica Muncitu who peacefully went into the Lord’s arms on Wednesday April 8, 2026 at the Hospice of Windsor at the untimely age of 69. Loving daughter of Constanta (late Gheorghe) Muncitu of Romania. Dear mother of Mihaela (Daniel) Zegrean and proud grandmother of John-Ross, Yasmina and Lorena Zegrean.

Rodica will be remembered for her devotion to family, literature and serenity. She poured time and love unconditionally towards her grandchildren’s well-being. She sought the Lord and relied on His grace every day of her life. She practiced patience and perseverance unrelentlessly.

We will cherish the time spent together and regret the missed opportunities for showing greater love.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday April 12 from 1:00pm until 4:00pm. A funeral service will be held at the chapel on Monday April 13 at 1:30pm with an interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.

Donations made in Rodica’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
