PADGHAM, Marilyn Jean Padgham

It is with love and sadness we announce the passing of Marilyn on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of John for over 63 years. Cherished mother of Susan (Randy Almon) and Christine (Cameron Micules). Devoted Gramma of Johnathan, Timothy, Sun, Griffin, and Hudson. Dear sister of Jack Lambley (Joyce). Predeceased by her parents Frederick and Helen Lambley.

For many years, Marilyn served the students and families at Fairfield and Kings Road Public Schools, where she brought smiles and a comforting face to everyone as the school receptionist until her retirement.

Marilyn Jean Padgham was also an avid knitter, reader, crossword puzzler, gardener and Wordle Queen. She was especially proud of her little vegetable garden at home that produced perfect green beans by the thousands.

A Memorial Gathering will take place at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Saturday, May 30 from 3-6 p.m. with Tributes at 4 p.m.
