Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at the age of 88 Ourania Panagiotopoulos took her last breath.
On that sad day, our family lost a mother, and a grandmother and heaven gained an angel. Although she fought tirelessly to stay with us, God took her by the hand and led her to eternal peace.
Beloved mother and grandmother, Ourania Panagiotopoulos (nee Mbouga). Beloved wife to pre deceased, Dimitrios Panagiotopoulos devoted mother of Beth (Vasiliki) and her husband Domenic Corradi, Sam (Serafim) and his wife Jeannie, and Spiro and his wife Krista.. Loved yiayia of Alexander and his wife Cassie, Daniel, Maria, Dimitri, and Nikolaos.
Ourania, was born in a small village in Thessaly Greece and immigrated to Canada in the 1960’s with her husband Dimitrios where they raised three children and had five grandchildren. They worked hard in various jobs until eventually owning their own business in the hospitality industry employing dozens of people. She was a great cook and was proud of the many recipes she knew. Her inner strength and beautiful smile will last in our hearts forever. She will be missed but never forgotten.
