Marie Adeline Pfeffer, of Hanover, passed away peacefully at Hanover Care Centre on Monday, June 2, 2025, at the age of 95.
Marie was born in Normanby Township, the daughter of the late Andrew and Rose (Zimmerman) Becker.
A longtime member of St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Marie also worked part-time with Horizon Chicks until her retirement.
She was the loving mother of Delores (David) Colwell, proud grandmother of Rob (Megan) Colwell and Randy (Jackie) Colwell, and great-grandmother to Kelly, Kayla, Autumn, and Ryan.
Marie will be fondly remembered by her siblings Elmer (Joyce) Becker, Ernie (Marj) Taylor, Florence Birr, and Mabel Strader.
Also remembered by Richard and Lee Michaud and their family, as well as her caring neighbor and friend Georgina Webb.
She was predeceased by her husband Lloyd (1996), and brothers-in-law Allan Birr and Joseph Strader.
A private funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, with Rev. Lori Pilatzke officiating.
Interment to follow in Hanover Cemetery.
