Peacefully, on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Vision Nursing Home, Robert “Bob” Pursel passed away at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Monica Pursel. Loving father of Darren (Tanya) and Dwayne (Lori) Pursel.
Cherished grandfather of Jordan Pursel and Taylor Pursel.
Dear brother of Lyn Causley, Margaret Pursel, Carol Causley, and Sandy Breakey. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Helen, brother John Pursel, and sister Georgia Pursel.
Bob was a jack of all trades and an expert storyteller. For the last 1.5 years of his life, he could be found visiting his wife at Vision Long-Term Care, or at Chuck’s chatting with Julie and Sue.
Many of his stories came from his 47-year career as a barber, engaging with the public and making lasting memories.
Cremation has taken place. A private burial of ashes will be held. Donations in Bob’s memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation (cheques only at the funeral home, please).
