It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gaetan Ruest on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at Ted Laurier Place, Cornwall, at the age of 83. Beloved husband of the late Denise Ruest (née Doré). Loving father of Patrick Ruest (Chantale) and Joël Ruest (Penny). Proud grandfather of Justin Ruest, Tricia Warnock (Jessy), Bradley Ruest (Natacha), great grandfather of Keedan, Brenny, Peyton, Cole, Violette and Emmanuelle.
Predeceased by his parents Roméo and Reina Ruest (née Goulet),and his siblings Maurice Ruest (Eva), Rheal Ruest (Late Jeanine), Lionel Ruest (late Linda) and Liette Ranger (Lionel).

Gaetan’s family warmly invites all family and friends to gather for a time of visitation and remembrance on Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 6 pm to 9 pm and on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 10 am until Chapel Service at 11 am at Wilson Funeral Home, Boulerice Centre 218 Montreal Road, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888).
