It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Karen peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa with family by her side.Beloved wife of 50 years to John, loving mom to Will (Angela) and Tom. Grandma to Katie, Gavin, Hudson and Dylan. Karen was daughter to Jean, and sister to Brenda (Doug) and predeceased by her dad; Tom, sister; Ruth and mother-in-law; Ruth. Karen was aunt to many.
She was an honourary mom and grandma to many more. She had a love for fishing up north with the family and her weekly Bingo games. Karen always welcomed everyone into the family with loving arms and will be missed by many.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at LHO who cared for Karen in her final days.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 12-2 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 2 p.m.
