Celia Marie Walter passed away peacefully on April 29, 2025, at the age of 82. Born in Collingwood, Ontario on Sept 17, 1942, she lived most of her adult life in Toronto and then Oshawa, working with the Ontario government. Celia drew comfort and strength, especially in later years, from her unwavering faith in God. Celia is survived by her two children Sue Sleeth (Peter) and Scott Tindal (Michelle), five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Irene Leeder (late Bill) and brother John Walter (Leslie). Celia will be missed by her long time friend Ralph Cossetino.
She is predeceased by her parents Carl and Bertha Walter.
Memorial donations may be made in Celia’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
A burial service and celebration of life will be held later in the spring.
